This is a regularly
scheduled news and analysis program.
0:00: Program introduction and sponsor's
commercial for laxative called Serutan.
1:40: Pearson and Allen summarize all
of the information already reported thus far
about Hawaii. Police have been called to duty,
presumably to prevent a Japanese-American
uprising. Three battleships were hit, the
West Virginia has been sunk. Repeat of Governor
Poindexter's claim just before 6:00 p.m. that
more Japanese planes were overhead in Hawaii
[this is an erroneous report]. Navy has just
announced that Japanese planes are bombing
Guam, and planes are over Burma. |
| Emphasis
on the "double-crossing" aspect
of the Japanese attack. This attack follows
months of appeasement by America. This showdown
is actually and indirect showdown with Hitler.
Analysis of what will happen if Moscow falls. |
10:02: Break for another Serutan laxative
commercial. "When you read that backwards
it spells, 'natures'".
11:18: More news and Pearson and Allen's
predictions of things to come.
