1). Germans occupied Dunkirk this morning. Germans claim to have taken 40,000 prisoners. Churchill told The House of Commons that the battle had been a disaster. Each side makes very different claims about the losses suffered by the other side. Churchill says they will never surrender.


2). More concern is America about the British navy falling into German hands.

3). The British Expeditionary Force will be reconstituted.

4). Air raids continue on both sides.

5). Italy takes steps toward war, but probably will not be in war until June 15.
