Edward R. Murrow from London: Shortly after Prime Minister Chamberlain's speech, the air raid sirens went off in London. It was a friendly aircraft, but this news report describes the reaction of the citizens of London. The House of Commons is still in session. Winston Churchill speaks in the House. Murrow tries several times unsuccessfully to contact Paris.
