| CBS's
Bob Trout introduces H.V. Kaltenborn in London.
Kaltenborn reports on the demands that Hitler has
made on England. In dispute was the so-called "Polish
Corridor," a legacy of WWI that gave German
territory to Poland so that Poland would have access
to the sea. Hitler also demanded the city of Danzig.
Hitler would invade Poland five days later, starting
WWII. |
