Latinos in American popular culture are frequently depicted in demeaning ways. They are often shown as being dirty, "greasy", stupid, and lazy. One common caricature is that of the Bandito, an unsavory Western gunslinger villain. An essay is planned for the future. In the meantime, several small collections of artifacts are presented below.
