Alligator Theme
Albert The Alligator (2000): this item was purchased in a local store. It was manufactured as part of a series of animal-themed cookie jars that electronically produce animal sounds when opened. Albert, however, does not make animal sounds. He makes black dialect sounds. Consider this item in context with the history of depicting Blacks as food for alligators.
