The timelines are divided into 5 parts, covering the pre-American participation years through the end of the war in 1945. The emphasis is on presenting the major events of the war chronologically and simply; supported by artifacts, photographs, radio news reports, and political speeches.
This section covers American homefront materials that are not already presented their own sections below. Subjects include: pre-war defense, "Remember Pearl Harbor!", anti-Japanese, anti-German/axis, pitching-in, and general war-themed.
The section presents clips of animated shorts produced by various studios to help support the war effort. Many of these are controversial today because of their ethnic stereotyping.
