The Cinnamon
Bear begins in the home of Judy and Jimmy Barton.
While searching their attic for their Christmas tree's
silver star, they meet Paddy O'Cinnamon, a stuffed bear
come to life. Paddy tell the children that the silver
star has been stolen by the Crazy Quilt Dragon, who
has escaped to maybeland. They learn to "de-grow,"
shrinking to four inches tall, and go through a crack
in the wall to a magical fantasy world. The 26 chapters
were designed to begin right after Thanksgiving, and
take the listener right up to Christmas day.
