Lux Radio Theater was the most important dramatic show in radio. It had the biggest stars, budget, and the most acclaim. It ran a full hour and was mostly hosted by Cecil B. DeMille, one of Hollywood's most important directors. The list of actors who participated in this show are a who's who of Hollywood from 1934-1955, including Marlene Dietrich, Clark Gable, Helen Hayes, Ethel Barrymore, Robert Taylor, Jean Harlow, Cary Grant, Claudette Colbert, Barbara Stanwyck, Don Ameche, Bette Davis, Spencer Tracy, and many, many others. This production of The Thin Man stars William Powell and Myrna Loy.
