giant Professor Anton Edwards on his search for Atlantis.
The serial was told in 26 chapters in 1935. Created
during a time when Africa was still a dark and mysterious
continent to most Americans, this serial did well to
capitalize on that mystery by using strange beasts,
magical severed head, and scary natives, Edwards, his
daughter Lorna, her fiance, and a huge native of royal
blood make their way through the jungle together. The
opening theme is particular good...African drums
